Emily has worked as a GP in Sunderland since 2020, after holding a variety of roles across organisations in the North East. She now leads on General Practice at Sunderland GP Alliance and is Clinical Director for Central Primary Care Network.

Her main focus is improving care for patients, reducing health inequalities, and making sure services reach those who need them most. Emily is also involved in training future GPs and supporting their development.

Alongside her leadership roles, she is a member of Sunderland LMC and Hepatitis C GP Champion, working to raise awareness and improve treatment of the condition.
