Sunderland GP Alliance
Sunderland GP Alliance is a not-for-profit collaboration of GP practices in Sunderland.
All GP Practices in Sunderland are members of the organisation, covering approximately 285,000 patients.
The Alliance also runs three practices in Washington, South Hylton and New Silksworth.

Sunderland GP Alliance has a highly experienced team of professionals who are all committed to providing the best health care possible for the people of Sunderland.
SGPA Medical Practices
Sunderland GP Alliance runs three medical practices at New Silksworth Medical Practice, South Hylton Surgery and Monument Surgeries.
We also run a number of other services that cover the whole city such as our Enhanced Access service that provides appointments on an evening and at weekends.
Partnership working
Sunderland is a national leader in out-of-hospital service reform through its Altogether Better consortium.
This collaboration is chaired by a GP and includes the ICB, the Local Authority and the secondary care and mental health trusts, as well as SGPA, and we look forward to continuing to support the partnership in the future. The network of Primary Care Networks also champions the partnership working model.
