As a reminder, the CCG are looking to extend the Career Start scheme due to the Alliance’s incredible success over the first year.
The initiative is now full with ten new GPs recruited to the city, but from August, there will be five more places available to continue to address the recruitment difficulties we face in common with the rest of the country.
We expect these places to fill quickly as our scheme has a very strong reputation within the Deanery, so if you know of anyone who might be interested, please do encourage them to get in touch. As a quick reminder, the scheme offers:
• Salary of £70,000 pa
• Medical indemnity fees paid
• Up to two paid CPD sessions per week
• Up to £5,000 paid towards training
• Dedicated GP Supervisor support
Anyone who has qualified within the last two years is eligible to apply.
