A series of Practice visits and Network events have taken place across the first quarter of the year.
These sessions have provided Practices working with a SGPA Pharmacist an opportunity to share experiences with other Practices and to explore how the Pharmacists can maximise the benefit to the Practice and to Patient outcomes.
As a result the Clinical Pharmacy Project Team are developing a quarterly Newsletter to share good practice, innovation and positive interventions across the city and to assist Practices in realising the potential of their Clinical Pharmacist.
More Practices have expressed an interest in having access to a Clinical Pharmacist and the Alliance are working with both NHS England and the CCG to assess the best way of supporting a further roll out of Pharmacists. Any Practices who may be interested in having access to a Pharmacist can express their interest by contacting Tara Burrell at [email protected] as soon as possible.
