Following the feedback that you wanted us to look at how we may support general practice further by piloting an in hours home visiting service, we held a scoping exercise with many stakeholders across Sunderland to discuss current services, namely Recovery at Home and the role they currently play in this area.
Currently Recovery at Home undertake some home visiting on behalf of GP’s. Further GP scoping work is required to establish if, where and when this can be made available on a broader scale. This GP scoping work is expected to start in April / May so we hope to be coming back to you in May with a proposal for how we may take this further please get in touch with Tracey Teasdale at the Alliance if you have an interest in this area.
