All Together Better Sunderland has received confirmation from NHS England that we have secured third year funding for our development towards the multi-speciality community provider model of out of hospital care.
The funding secured was in line with our value proposition submission and we are one of 13 areas of the country developing this model of care.
For Enhanced Primary Care we have secured a further £800,000 to develop the programme of work further.
We will be developing the 2017/18 programme of work based on local priorities and some of the successful pilots in 2016 and the GP staff feedback gathered at the engagement event earlier this year.
As with the current £1,000,000 budget for enhanced primary care the next year’s allocation will be invested into General Practice.
